Our Story

Hello Everyone,

Although we may not know each other personally, we have friends in common; we are the mothers of Jeremy and Katrina Licon.  As you all know, this is a very tough time for their family.  Katrina, pregnant with twins, went into labor at 22 weeks; the babies were born just short of 24 weeks on August 6th.   Lane Patrick was born at 1 pound 12 ounces, 12 inches long and Logan Joel was born at 1 pound 6 ounces, 11 inches long.  They are little miracles and fighters; they amaze us each and every day.  Logan, being the smaller of the twins has had additional struggles, and on August 15th was airlifted to another hospital more than 120 miles from his brother Lane.  As you can imagine this is very difficult emotionally as well as financially for the family as they now have to split their time between two cities and two babies. Currently, Lane is holding his own and as expected has both good and bad days; Logan will require surgery to repair a hole in his heart and that is expected to take place within the next few days.

Many of you have been asking how you can help the family, and that is why we put this site together. Both Jeremy and Katrina are at Logan and Lane’s bedside every possible second and are at the same time being bombarded with many financial obstacles in regards to the care of their precious little ones.   It is obviously a lot to take in, as you can imagine and we know they would appreciate your help!

Please consider donating to help Lane and Logan as they fight to survive and thrive in their respective NICU’s.   Even if you cannot contribute, please leave a prayer or warm thought on the message board; we will make sure that the family sees them. Most importantly, please share this link with others and help spread the word to get as many people involved as possible.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,Linda and Kim
